Carmela is interested in creating ambiguous abstract art that blurs the lines between multi-dimensional realities. She paints from a deep place where light meets dark and dark meets light.  Her bold and vibrant paintings reveal the human spirit's struggle, strength, and resilience. As an intuitive painter, she is inspired by the emotions of the human spirit.

Statement

Carmela Montgomery grew up in Pensacola, FL where she became fascinated with art at an early age.  She started drawing at the age of 6 and used drawing as an outlet. As an adult, she rediscovered her passion for the arts and started painting in 2012. Since then Carmela's works is held in private collections in the U.S. and Overseas.
